Division 7
After the success of the soul - scented summer favorite Istid, which among other things attracted attention on the Music Guide in P3 's " Best right now " list, Division 7 is back to its roots with the new single Strandpromenaden which was released on 21 August. A thirty-three mocha where the indie rumble can rest on steady rhythm and blues; what has become Division 7's unique sound. The promenade is as much a call to dare to go its own way as a fire talk about exclusion. The message is straightforward and simple: Answer your detractors with a shrug and continue walking along your own promenade.
Who said that Swedish indie rock is dead? Division 7 is the long-awaited defibrillator that not only makes indie hearts beat - with guitar-driven rock and saxophone-sniffing blue eyed soul in the foreground, Division 7 embraces its audience with a confident assurance that Swedish indie rock is still relevant and here to stay.
