Blodmyren began to exist on the side of frontman Erik Björklund's second band Delsbo Beach Club in the spring of 2019. June 26, 2020 Blodmyren 's debut single Allting i mig som bra , will be released, the first from the album Zinkensdamm / Skanstull which will be released this autumn. The biggest reason why Blodmyren came into being at all was that Erik Björklund had become sober and in the same vein discovered the wonderful thing about writing texts in Swedish.

The album is a collection of songs that we have been rehearsing together since we started playing together. What is dealt with on the disc in text is love, disappointments and an addiction problem that has gone out of control. In terms of genre, the album is somewhere between pop, blues and rock, with overtones in Swedish. The goal of the album was to record a collection of songs we felt happy with in as simple forms as possible.
